All proceeds for this shirt will go towards Kim DuPree, mother of Eisley’s Sherri, Stacy, Chauntelle, and Weston DuPree, aunt toGarron DuPree and mother-in-law of Say Anything’s Max Bemis. Kim was recently rushed to the hospital with partial paralysis on the left side of her body. After multiple tests and scans, doctors found no signs of a stroke and believe that it was primarily stress related. While Kim is now home and on her way to recovery, the family faces the reality of not having medical insurance and the expensive bills that resulted from the hospital stay. This design, depicting Kim and the DuPree kids, was created by Sherri DuPree-Bemis.

Shirts will begin shipping on August 4th.

Tuesday July 12, 2011 - Kim:

My own update...

First off I must tell all of you how much your well wishes and prayers have meant to me and overwhelmed me. Tears gushing from feelings of your love towards me. This has been a horrifying experience that is not over.
As far as the doctors can tell...I did not have a stroke. I am thanking God for that. However, as I type with one hand, my other hand lays still - barely movable along with my whole left side. At this point Boyd helps me back and forth to the bathroom while my left leg drags along. Yesterday I could not lift it at all up from bed...today I can lift it 2". Progress!
An 80 year old moved in last nite w/ pneumonia. She gives off the impression that only what she is going through matters. Very inconsiderate and talks really loud, left her lite in all nite, hacked, coughed, and hacked really loud with her doctors and nurses.
My doctors and nurses have been really great considering we have no insurance. At this point after 3 mri's have shown no stroke signs...they are looking at the possibility that stress could have caused this.
I have been under extreme stress and insomnia due to the fact that we may lose our home. We've been trying for a loan mod' but they rejected us once. Needless to say...that has weighed heavy on me even though I realize I will survive that if it happens. Seems trivial now in light of the paralysis that I now have to try and overcome.
I appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers. Much love...kd
